Birchbox Review-June 2017

June’s Birchbox had exciting products to prep me for Summer. Not all of the items are pictured, as I used the Shampoo & Conditioner before I could take photos. I was just too excited! 😉

Kensie-Eau de Parfum

Flowery perfumes are not my thing, but this blend totally is! It’s light and sweet—even Nathan liked the smell. I could smell it throughout the day, which is a must if I’m buying anything more than Bath & Body Works. The pricing for a full-size bottle isn’t bad either ($45)! I would definitely purchase for a summery perfume! Rate: ♥♥♥♥♥

Manna Kadar Cosmetics-Eye Candy Priming Shadow Stick-Jelly Bean

This is incredibly messy. As you can see from the photo, it was messy before I even opened it. The color was pretty and it lasted (without creasing) during my nine hour shift. That’s a pretty big achievement for eye shadow. However, putting it on was a pain and it was hard to manipulate without making matters worse. Rate: ♥

Marcelle-Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel

This product is something that’s unnecessary for me because I live in small-town, USA. One of the main purposes of this gel is to protect your skin from pollution. It was nice to put on–it wasn’t sticky or greasy. I just didn’t really notice it doing anything. Rate: ♥

Mellow Cosmetics-Liquid Lip Paint-New York

Okay. It says high-pigment, but I wasn’t expecting how far a couple of drops of this would go. It is one of most pigmented lipsticks I have ever used. The color was a deep red/purple and it had a matte finish so I was excited to add this trendy shade to my collection. I completely forgot I was even wearing it–that’s how natural it felt.  Rate: ♥♥♥♥

The Beauty Crop-Blush Duo-Papaya Don’t Preach

The Beauty Crop

This was a really unique item to receive! One half was cream blush, and the other was powder blush. I’ve personally never been a huge fan of cream blush but it did apply easily. The powder was great and I loved the pinkish-peach color. This would be the perfect addition to your collection so you can match the texture with your foundation. Rate: ♥♥♥♥

Oribe-Gold Lust Shampoo & Conditioner

Just in time, Birchbox! I ran out of conditioner this week and didn’t have time to buy more, hence the reason I have no photos of the samples. Oops. The packaging was gorgeous and it made me feel like I had luxury shampoo and conditioner. I used the products for about a week on my hair and I annoyed Nathan by constantly asking him to feel how soft my hair was. I would totally use this stuff….if it wasn’t $49 a bottle! Rate: ♥♥♥♥
